On the 19th May our school was very proud to have the Australian Ambassador return this time with Professor Gordon Wallace of Wollongong University a leader in 3D printing research. Along with Professor Wallace was Fletcher Thompson also from Wollongong University Australia and local Mr. Robbie Sinnott of the NCSR (National Centre for Sensor Research) of DCU.
This was a memorable for all involved where Professor Wallace, Fletcher and the Australian Ambassador Dr. Ruth Adler donated a 3d printer to Donabate Community College. On the day there was a memorable speech and presentation about the wonders of 3D printing and how this will change the world, for those in attendance it’s fair to say that all were in awe.
