Compute TY 2013

This year 23 students signed up for Compute TY which took place in DCU from the 14th – 18th January. In total almost 250 students took part and just like last year, this year was a huge success. The week involved students learning in a self directed manner with the aid of DCU’s finest computer science lecturers and tutors. All Donabate students took part in the JavaScript Programming stream which is an easy-to-use programming language that can be embedded in the header of your web pages. It can enhance the dynamics and interactive features of your page by allowing you to perform calculations, check forms, write interactive games, add special effects, customize graphics selections, create security passwords and more.

This was a great chance for all our students to experience the world of real life programming and gain a college atmosphere and experience for the week. The class was accompanied by Mr. Ganly for the duration of the week.
