As we end another event filled term, may I take this opportunity to thank our parents/ guardians for their continued support and encouragement in our endeavours.
We have now installed the text-a-parent service in our Anseo system and sent a test text to you today. If for any reason you did not receive a text please contact the school office following the holidays and we will rectify the situation. The automatic text alert for an absence will go live on Wednesday 15th April. We will develop the system for the next academic year, however the installation of Anseo provides a more comprehensive monitoring of attendance than we previous had.
A reminder that state exam fees are due. Giros should be returned to the school by the 15 April.
I wish to inform you that Mr. D. McCormack has recently been appointed as Deputy Principal to Coláiste de Lacy in Louth Meath ETB. Mr. McCormack takes up his new position next September. I know that I speak for you all when I wish Mr. McCormack congratulations and every best wish in his new position and thank him for his contribution to Donabate Community College.
