On Thursday 16th of November our senior rugby team won a hard fought match against St. Paul’s Raheny 40-22 away from home. Our players got off to a fast start with a try from Joe Kennedy and the conversion being kicked over by Ollie Twomey who had a great game. Cian Jinks, Will Deering, Richard Burke and Ben Hand added tries. The moment of the game has to be Ben Hand’s try where he received a pass from Robert Sparks and ran from our try line to theirs before finishing under the posts for an easy conversion.
Overall it was a great team performance from our lads. Robert Sparks was selected as man of the match as he set up many of the tries with his strong running.
Thank you to coach Mr. McDermott, the lads will now play their Semi-Final next week against Ardgillan.
