DONABATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE 26 -HIGH SCHOOL 24
On the 13th of October 2015, the U16 Donabate CC team recorded a narrow win against High School. It was a very successful start for DCC as they scored six points in quick succession. Both teams soon calmed down and made more passes and fewer quick breaks. As the first quarter ended, Donabate were leading 15-12. Donabate made a few substitutions midway through the second quarter, the substitutions having an immediate effect as right off the bat four baskets were scored for DCC.
Following a few nice passages of play, High School managed to bring the scoreline to 18-17. In the third quarter only one basket was scored for High School, setting up what was to be a very close fourth quarter. As both teams played full -court press, fatigue started to set in, however, the DCC players gave it their all as they narrowly came out winners against a very respectable High School side.
