The “Be Safe Be Seen” road safety awareness campaign was launched in DCC last Tuesday. As part of this programme, 1st year students received an informative talk delivered by transition year students and a piece of reflective equipment.
This campaign will be rolled out to all staff and students soon, with everyone receiving a piece of reflective equipment such as a hivis jacket or armband.
Many thanks to Ms Fennell for leading the campaign, the transition year students Ella Higgins and Jamie Schaefer for delivering the presentation and the Road Safety Authority for providing the reflective equipment.
As a school we hope that extra care will be taken while travelling on the roads this winter.
