Board of Management Agreed Report – Tues 25th March

1. The board would like to extend their thanks to the Parent Council for their hard work in organising the Table Quiz in Beaverstown Golf Club on Thursday 27^th March 2025.
2. The board pass on their gratitude to the teachers for their involvement in the many recent extra-curricular successes.
3. The board would like to congratulate the 1^st year boys Gaelic footballers for reaching the Shield final.
4. The board extends its heartfelt condolences to the staff and students of DCC on the recent passing of Kerrie Whelan, a former teacher and cherished member of our community.
5. The following policies were reviewed and ratified: Wellbeing, Healthy Eating, TY Work Experience, Administration of Medication and First Aid.
6. The board acknowledge the progress being made in Provision Mapping. Staff have been briefed and surveyed and the next stage in the process is collecting input from parents and students.
7. The board were informed of their responsibilities in relation to the new Bí Cinealta guidelines which require reform in policy and practice in schools regarding anti-bullying.
