On Friday, the senior boys defeated Colaiste Èanna by a single point in their championship semi-final.
Donabate got off to a great start through an early goal from Conor Donovan, and continued extending their lead with points from Harry Stenson and Aidan Bukovec.
Coláiste Èanna got a goal halfway through the first half, but it was quickly cancelled out by a Donabate goal from James Freel, followed by a Two-Pointer from Aidan Walsh, giving Donabate an eight point lead at halftime.
The second half started with a goal from the opposition to stage a fight back, Donabate kept the scoreboard ticking but Coláiste Èanna scored another goal, setting up a nervy final 10 minutes.
Points from Liam Murray and Donncha Liston kept Donabate in front, Conor Heffernan kicked the winner, to add to his total of 7 points, sending Donabate to the final.
Thanks to Mr O’Meara and Mr Dunne for looking after the team and we wish them the best of look for the final in the new year.
