DCC Defeats Loreto in Senior Girls Match

DCC faced Loreto SS Balbrigggan in St Itas on December 2nd and it was a great match for our girls.DCC started strongly with a goal scored by Georgia Hall. We stayed strong with great defence from Niamh Zaidan, Sarah Weir, Alannah Geoghegan and Erin Finn.
Georgia Hall added a second and by the end of the 1st half we were two nil up. Going into the second half our team was confident, but was still aware that they had to maintain their defence and work ethic. Our defence held strong and by the end of the match, Loreto couldn’t find a way through the DCC defence and the home side recorded a 2-0 victory!
