On Thursday, the Second Year boys GAA team travelled out to Ballymun to play St Kevin’s Finglas, in their final league game.
Donabate started the game very strongly, getting a goal in the opening two minutes through Jake Hand, and another from Adam Watters. Max Richardson had a great game in midfield winning breaking ball and delivering into the full forward line. Donabate had firm control of the game at halftime leading by 16 points.
St. Kevin’s staged a comeback scoring 2 early goals in the second half, however strong performances from Jake Hand, Noah Bukovec and keeper, Harry Murphy, secured a strong 12 point win for Donabate ahead of their championship.
Thanks to St. Kevin’s for coming out on a cold day and for a great game!
Big thanks to Mr. Murphy and Mr. Dowling for looking after the team!
