Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,
As we begin our Spring holidays, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all an enjoyable break as we take advantage of the lengthening evenings and sunshine filled days.
Our thoughts are with our Sixth-Year students as they embrace their Oral Examinations. We remind you to sleep well, eat well and to mind yourself over the course of these exams.
A sincere note of thanks to our Parents’ Council for their hard work in facilitating their recent Table Quiz. It was a fantastic opportunity to get together and share a fun evening. Funds of €882 were raised for the school, for which we are extremely grateful. To the many sponsors of prizes, your generosity in support of the work of the Parents’ Council and our school brought a real sense of community to the evening, for which we are very grateful.
Our recent Music Instrument Drive has seen a trail of keyboards, violins, guitars and a full drum set make their way into the school. The Music Department are stunned by your response. Your instruments will provide much happiness to a new generation of students and joy to those listening.
Schools are such busy places, however there are so many examples of kindness and community, we appreciate and value your partnership in this work.
Every best wish,
John Doyle
Principal
