Before midterm, a group of Ms Fennell’s TY Future Leaders coached a blitz with Gaelscoil Na Mara, a local gaelschool. The TYs carefully organised the blitz and much thought was put into it in order to provide Gaelscoil na Mara with a high quality blitz which students would enjoy!
The TYs were split into four groups where each group was given the task of preparing 4 separate drills for the blitz. One group managed the warm up, kicking drill, hand passing drill and movement drill.
On the day of the blitz, the TYs set up their drills in the community centre hall and after all of the setting up and explaining, the TYs , players, teachers and coaches had a blast.
Overall we would like to thank everyone from Gaelscoil na Mara for coming over and participating in the blitz we would also like to thank Traelach the local GPO for St Pats GAA for his assistance and to Ms Fennell for all her help.
