As we approach autumnal half term, we wish a lovely break to each of our students. That chance to reboot and reconnect with old friends, to reacquaint with hobbies that we have neglected, to read a book and enter the worlds of the imagination with a good story. We look forward to opening the doors to a reinvigorated school of students following the holiday.
May we take this opportunity to say Thank You to our Parents’ Council for inviting Garda Elaine Duffy to speak at the Parents’ Council AGM last Wednesday evening on the role of the Community Garda. Elaine was delighted to take questions from the floor and to have the chance to speak to parents in our community.
A real and sincere Thank You to you our parents and guardians for your support of the work we do. It is acknowledged and appreciated by staff.
To our First Year Parents and Guardians, it was lovely to meet you this morning at the annual First Year breakfast. Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to come into our school for this relaxed social event.
Light refreshments for parents and guardians were provided this morning by our Parents’ Council for which we thank them. We would like to acknowledge the kind donation from a first year parent to our students of their sweet packet. The treat was gratefully received.
Our final word is to our students, watch out for each other over the break, use the opportunity wisely to make new memories with family and friends.
Above all stay safe and we will look forward to seeing you soon.
