Donabate Community College instituted the inaugural First Year IMBVE Olympiad today. The Assembly Area was a buzz with First Year students taking on the challenge of each of five stations focusing on a different aspect of the IMBVE (Identity, Multi-Belief and Values Education) course. Assignments taking into account personal development and identity, global awareness and values based learning, had students chatting, gaming, thinking and creating in an atmosphere which saw our school values of Respect, Care, Respect, Community and Equality live and breathe.

Students were awarded their certificates at the end of the two hour Olympiad.

A sincere thanks to the 10 strong group of Transition Year Students who not only set up the hall for the event but were on hand to ensure the materials were carefully packed away for next year. In addition our TY Journalists who are working on their report which will be available on school social media next week.
