A Message from Mr Creevey

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I wish to inform you that I will be leaving Donabate Community College on March 15th. I will be taking on a new challenge as the Principal of Clonturk Community College. By that time my successor will have been appointed. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support during my time in Donabate Community College. Over my 10 years I have received great support from our parent body for which I am very grateful for. I would like to thank all the members of our Board of Management and Parents Council throughout my time. Special thanks goes to Cllr. Adrian Henchy, Chair of our Board of Management and Sonia Francis, Chair of our Parents Council.

The teaching staff in Donabate Community College are a group of talented committed educationalists who go the extra mile for our students. They have embraced technology and new innovations to continually improve the learning experience of our students. The staff have also given a lot of their free time to promote extra – curricular activities in our school. The number of students participating in these activities has increased year on year. Our Administration staff work tirelessly to ensure that our school functions at the highest level.

The final group that I wish to thank are the students of Donabate Community College. It has been a privilege to work with an incredible student body. Our students have made some outstanding achievements during my time. In areas of Academics, Sport, Debating and Civic Activism, Donabate Community College students have excelled. A lasting memory I will have is the kindness, respect and courtesy that our students conduct themselves with everyday in DCC. They are a credit to their parents, school and community. I wish them every success for the future.

Thank you,

Anthony Creevey

Principal
