Last evening the second session of our Peer Mentoring programme took place remotely.
Our sixth year students opened the session with questions and received considered, sound and insightful advice from our peer mentors.
The topics covered in this session were: Dealing with the stress of the current peculiar situation, how to organise study/school work at home, taking a proper break over mid term, what is means to take a break, dealing with the present while keeping an eye to the future.
It was agreed that Session Three will take place in term three on a date to be decided.
Our thanks to Mr. Brehony for facilitating the session and to our peer mentors for the generous gift of their time and the wisdom of their advice. It is such a source of pride to experience our past students of different years mentoring the next generation when such mentoring has never been more important. Our gratitude to them is heartfelt.
