Alexandra College – 4
Last Thursday was an unfortunate day for our first year girls soccer team who came out the wrong side of a 4-1 defeat against Alexandra College.
The match kicked off at 2:30 with a speedy goal scored by the opposition in the first few minutes, but DCC bounced back with Caoimhe Murphy scoring a goal for DCC. The opposition were strong with two more goals being scored before the half time whistle. The first half ended with a score of 3-1 to Alexandra College
The second half started off strong with DCC keeping the opposition out of their box, the defence stood strong and another goal was not scored until the last minute of the game by Alexandra College. The final whistle blew with an unfortunate 4-1 loss for our girls.
Thanks to Ms Collins for helping out and all the girls for their dedication and hard work. The very best of luck to Alexandra College in the final!
