As the celebrations from last Friday’s seismic championship win for our senior Gaelic footballers sink in, attention in the camp now moves forward into the All-Ireland Series. A place in an All-Ireland Schools ‘B’ Final in Croke Park on St. Patrick’s Day is the ultimate prize this year, however, the Dublin champions must first navigate out of Leinster.
The first of the hurdles in Leinster sees our lads travel to Bray Emmets GAA Club to face off against the South Leinster champions, and famous Wexford school, Gorey CC in the Leinster semi-final next Thursday 29 January.
There was initial confusion at the venue, as Donabate CC were drawn first, however, this is a neutral game, and confirmation of the venue came early on Thursday morning, with throw in set for 12:00.
The winners of this fixture will face the winners of the North Leinster Championship in the Leinster Final. (Cnoc Mhuire Granard vs St Joseph’s, Drogheda – fixture to take place on Friday 23 January).
