Dear Parents and Guardians,
On Thursday 16th January, Third Year students will be given their E8 forms to check and sign.
The E8 Form contains the information which the SEC requires to send the correct examination papers to schools for the State Exams.
These forms are not allowed to leave the premises.
Students will be asked to check the following:
- Spelling of their Name.
- Date of birth.
- The levels at which they wish to sit their Core subjects of Irish, English and Maths.
- Once levels have been submitted on the E8 form and sent to the State Exams Commission, levels cannot be changed for the June Exams.
- If a student is taking a subject outside of school and wishes to take a paper at the State Exams in June in that subject, they must add this to their form. If this is the case, instructions will be issued on how to add this subject.
- The list of subjects registered for a candidate to ensure that it is correct. If not, instructions will issued on how to make the necessary amendment.
Following this exercise, students will be asked to sign the end of the form and date it.
Forms are then submitted to the State Exams Commission by our school.
It is imperative that students are in attendance on the day.
