Just before the mid term break, Miss Fennell’s TY Future Leader class went on a trip to Croke Park.
We met our instructor, his name was Barry. Barry started the tour by bringing us to one of the changing rooms in Croke Park. In this changing room, he showed us how to put our harness on for the skyline tour.
After we put our harness on, we had to climb all the stairs to get up to the skyline tour. When up there Barry took us around Croke Park while giving us a brief history of Dublin and the stadium.
Once we were finished with the skyline tour, Barry brought us down to the Hogan Stand changing rooms. These are the main changing rooms in Croke Park. After this, Barry brought us out onto the sideline.
Once we were done with the tour, the lads took a look around the museum. They tried some of the challenges in the museum such as fastest puck, how high they can jump and their reaction time.
Thanks to Miss Fennell and Miss Fennell for looking after the lads. We had a brilliant day.
