Dear Students, Parents and Staff,
The Parent Council at Donabate Community College would like to thank everyone who took part in our Community Recreation Area Design Competition. We were delighted with the creativity, thought, and effort that went into the many fantastic entries submitted. It was inspiring to see so many ideas for transforming the space behind the basketball courts into a welcoming recreational area for our school community.
After careful consideration, we are pleased to announce the winners:

The judging panel was particularly impressed by the imagination shown in the designs, including ideas for seating and relaxation areas, green spaces, and places for students to talk, learn, and play together.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated. Your ideas will help inspire the development of the new community recreation area, which will be made possible through the Elevate 25 Grant awarded by the DAA.
