Our Second Year Students and Staff returned from an action packed weekend in Delphi. Students experienced archery, kayaking, climbing, bush craft, forest walks, camp fire and orienteering, not to mention navigating tunnels. Students challenged themselves to go outside their comfort zones and their sense of achievement was evident to see.
Students motivated each other and we witnessed many peer to peer kindnesses. Students were complemented on their behaviour and their helpfulness by the staff of Delphi. They were an absolute credit to themselves and their families.
The sun shone on us, the setting was beautiful and our students’ enthusiasm to take part in every activity and their comradery have contributed to memories which we look back on and smile as we do so.
A sincere thank you to Ms. Curran, Mrs. Kearns, Mr. Brehony, Mrs. Borland, Ms. Cunningham, Ms. Collins, Ms, Cauldwell and Ms. Power who brought the students on their weekend adventure and took great care of them.
