Congratulations to Argentina who won the inaugural Congratulations to Argentina who won the inaugural Copa Del DCC!
Since February, boys and girls from second year have been playing a tournament after school in a league format, followed by playoffs/ knockout stage that took place during school.
Germany came out on top of the league stage and were favourites for the playoffs. Brazil, who finished last in the league stages, put it up to Germany in the quarter-final but fell short.
The league champions were then dumped out of the semi-finals by 2nd place in the league, Spain in a classic semi-final.
Spain were well fancied in the final against a mid-table finishing Argentina team but were humbled 6-1 by the South Americans, with massive performances from Jamie Cray and Matthew O’Connor in the final.
