Applications for 1st Year 2027 – 2028
Applications for 1st years starting in 2027 will open on October the 1st at 09:00 and will close on October the 23rd at 15:10.
Applications are open for 3 weeks, please take your time filling out your online form ensuring all details are correct.
Applications received after this date will be considered and processed as late applications in accordance with the school’s Admission Policy.
Requirements on application.
- Your child must be currently in 6th class to make an application.
- Your child’s PPS number.
- Current primary school information.
- Age – DOB
- Proof of address – Dated in the last 3 months – In the name of Parent/Guardian

Applying for a special class place in 2027
If you intend on applying for a special class place for your child you must confirm with the NCSE by Sept 1st 2026 please see a link below for further information.
Student Transfers
If you wish to transfer to Donabate Community College from another secondary school, please click on the link below.
Students seeking to transfer for academic year 2027/28 – click the Admissions 2027-2028 Form tab above. The enrolment window is from Monday the 2nd of March until 4th of June 2027. Applications after the 4th of June 2027, will be considered late. Places will be categorized in June. Offers will be made only where a space is available in the relevant year group.
