Unfortunately DCC were beaten 5-3 by Adamstown at home, in a great battle in their Shield Quarter Final.
DCC started the game off well, unfortunately Adamstown scored the opener setting them up for the rest of the game. With 5 minutes left in the first half, Brian Stenson gets on the end of a loose ball back to the keeper and makes it 1-1.
Early into the second half a great play from James Lawless set up Darragh Fitzgerald for DCC’s second, putting them ahead, shorty after Adamstown scored the equaliser. A great finish by James Lawless put DCC up again 3-2. An unfortunate penalty gave Adamstown the equaliser and they pushed on to seal a 5-3 victory.
Well done to all the team and thanks to Mr Kelly for all his work with the squad this season.
